Bedoyecta Tri Injections 5-syringes

Bedoecta Tri Injectable is a preparation based on hydroxocobalamin, thiamine, and pyridoxine solutions. These are natural, rapidly absorbed forms of vitamins B1, B6 and B12. The medication is used for a wide range of indications. Doctors prescribe it for anemia, skin diseases, and a number of mental disorders. The drug is prescribed for adults and children.

Form of production and active ingredients

In the United States and Mexico, Bedoecta Tri Injections is available as a solution in individual syringes. One package contains five syringes of 2 ml. The drug contains three active ingredients simultaneously:

• Hydroxycobalamin, a metabolite of cyanocobalamin;
• Thiamine, a heterocyclic water-soluble compound;
• Pyridoxine - pyridine derivative.

Recommended dosages

Bedoyecta Tri is administered intramuscularly. The exact scheme of treatment is made individually, taking into account age. The duration of basic treatment - 1-2 weeks. Further, the periodic introduction of decreased maintenance doses during 2-3 months or for life is possible. The daily therapeutic dose varies from 250 to 1000 micrograms per day. 

Metabolism and pharmacodynamics

All Bedoecta Tri vitamins belong to the group of water-soluble vitamins. When administered intramuscularly, they quickly penetrate into the bloodstream and take effect. The drug can be detected in the blood 15-30 minutes after the injection. The active ingredients are converted into coenzyme forms. They bind firmly to plasma proteins and are slowly excreted in the urine. 

Indications

The list of conditions in which Bedoecta Tri is recommended is wide. This is due to the complex composition. Appointed the drug as an independent agent or as part of complex therapy.

Hydroxycobalamin is recommended for B12-deficiency anemia, disorders of the nervous system, disorders in the hematopoiesis process, cyanide poisoning.

Thiamine is recommended for B1 deficiency, probe feeding, malabsorption syndrome, fever, burns, neuralgia, paralysis, peptic ulcer, liver damage, diabetes, dermatosis.

Pyridoxine is recommended for B6-deficiency anemia, arthritis, muscle weakness, depression, hair loss.

Contraindications to prescribing

Bedoecta Tri Injections is a safe drug with a minimal list of restrictions. Limitations of the intramuscular application of the solution are individual intolerance to one or more components. With caution, the drug is prescribed to children and adolescents, pregnant and lactating women, as well as the elderly. 

Possible side effects

Compliance with the therapeutic dosage minimizes the risk of unwanted effects of taking the drug. In rare cases, there may be:

• arrhythmia;
• tachycardia;
• skin itching;
• redness of the skin;
• dizziness;
• nausea.

Side effects most often develop in the first days of treatment. Then they disappear on their own. Symptomatic therapy is not required.

Hypervitaminosis is possible with prolonged uncontrolled intake. The condition is accompanied by a decrease in the amount of protein in muscle tissue. Its external symptoms are drowsiness, numbness of extremities, skin rashes, headache. When hypervitaminosis, the drug is discontinued and symptomatic therapy is prescribed. 

Simultaneous use of Bedoecta Tri with aminoglycosides, anticonvulsants and potassium salts slows down the absorption of the vitamin solutions and reduces the concentration of the active components in the blood. A similar effect is observed when combining the drug with hormonal contraceptives.
